Number Wonders
Young children discover the wonderful world of numbers with a
new, computer animated Polkaroo. Combining bite-size pieces of
3-D animation with live action segments, programs feature the
beloved star of Polka Dot Shorts to help teach preschoolers
number recognition. Ten individual sequences feature Polkaroo in
a world of fanciful giant numbers from one to ten: these
whimsical shorts will help young children grasp the concept of
each number by giving them concrete examples, while taking their
imaginations on a magical ride. Numbers take on new meaning, as
children see Polkaroo ride a number 2 car, slide down a number 3
rainbow, play on a number 7 swing, and more! The animated
segments lead into live action inserts in which groups of
children represent the number of the day, such as 2
skateboarders, 3 breakdancers, and 7 pizza makers. A final
program reviews the numbers 1 to 10.
